Lectorum was founded in 1960 as one of the first Spanish language bookstores in Manhattan, NY. Currently, the company represents and distributes the leading Spanish publishers from Latin America and Spain. Lectorum sells directly to schools and libraries, and also to main educational distributors and wholesalers, nationwide. We distribute a catalog of over 10k titles of foreign and domestic publishers, and we also publish close to 200 selected children titles. These publications are mostly Spanish translations of award-winning books from authors like, Kevin Henkes, P.D. Eastman, Leo Lionni, Ivar Da Coll, Patricia Polacco, Mary Pope Osborne, Christopher Paul Curtis, Shel Silverstein, and Kate DiCamillo.
