Base fee:
  • Register by December 17 to save on registration! This registration type is available to wholesaler and publisher members only. If you are unable to register for this option, please make sure to renew your membership first.
  • Gold Sponsor opportunities are available to select organizations that are service providers supporting publishers in the educational and library marketplace with specific products and services that enhance and improve reading for children. Sponsors will participate in the one-on-one sessions by having scheduled meetings with publishers.
  • Publisher Sponsor opportunities are available to publishers who do not qualify for membership in EBMA. Register as an exhibitor if you are a publishing company that does not qualify for membership in EBMA. Exhibits will be located outside the one-on-one session meeting room and this does not include access to the one-on-one meetings. Includes one full conference registration.
  • One Day registration for EBMA conference on Wednesday, February 7 and the breakfast on February 8. Intended for past members of EBMA. Attendee may only attend two breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner meal functions. Special code required. Contact info@edupaperback.org to receive code.

About The Program

The 2024 Annual Meeting Program Committee, Eric Heidemann of Union Square and Co., and Nathan Getchell of American Reading Company, are pleased to announce the meeting theme: Efficiently Navigating a Data-Driven Market.  This is also the 50th anniversary year of EBMA and we will be celebrating that milestone during this conference.

Registration Details

To register for the annual meeting, please use the registration links on the left hand side of this webpage. Complete meeting details regarding the agenda, hotel reservations, transportation, one-on-one session advice and more will be forthcoming.

Early-bird registration closes December 17, 2023.  After this date, registration prices will increase by $100.  Early-bird registration is $1045 per person and includes all the meals listed above, access to education session, access to networking events, and access to the 1-on-1 sessions.

Guests: There are guest options for those who are not in the industry but attending the event as a social guest of another attendee.  These rates do not include the education sessions or lunch, but include all other meal functions.  Rates are shown on the registration page.  In 2024 a special 50th Anniversary one-day registration will be available to past members of EBMA.

Special Note to Company Admins: If you are a company administrator not attending the annual meeting but registering one or more employees from your company, please do not register yourself or register the attendee with your email address. If you would like to be copied on information regarding the annual meeting, please input your address in the secondary email field.

Hotel & Reservations
The hotel for this year's meeting is the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, at the base of Pikes Peak and the Colorado Rockies.  Hotel Reservations may be made via the following link: https://book.passkey.com/go/ebook2024 or by calling 855-634-7711 and saying you are with the EBMA group.  Hotel rates are guaranteed through January 12, 2024 after which they may increase.  Hotel rates are available from February 1- February 11, with rooms outside of February 4-9 subject to availability.  

Rates are based on room type and subject to taxes of about 13% and a $39/night resort fee which provides internet, fitness center and classes, on-property shuttle services, bottled water, and numerous on-property activities.  The rates for rooms are:

$220 - Classic
$240 - Superior
$260 - Premier

Hotel Activities

Where to Fly and Ground Transportation Between Airport and Hotel:

There are two options for flying and transport to the Broadmoor hotel.  One option is to fly into Colorado Springs and take a taxi/rideshare/shuttle to the airport (about 20 min).  The other option is to fly to Denver and take a car service, or drive a car, to the Broadmoor (90 minutes).  Hotel shuttle reservations or car service may be made through Gray Line here- https://www.broadmoor.com/the-resort/getting-here

There are two sponsorship levels:

  • Gold Sponsor- $5,000 - includes 2 conference registrations and a table in the 1-on-1 rotation
  • Publisher Sponsor-$3,000- includes 1 conference registration and a display table in a foyer area

Full shipping instructions, including table numbers (to replace the "X" above), will be provided in December 2023 once the table numbers are able to be assigned.

Credit Card Convenience Fee: There will be a 2.5% credit card convenience fee for all customers who wish to pay their registration fees by credit card. If you wish to avoid the processing fee you may choose to pay by check instead of credit card.   

Attendee Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing by email to admin@edupaperback.org. To receive a full refund, you must cancel your registration no later than close of business on January 16, 2024, a $100 processing fee will apply. If you cancel after this date substitutions may be made for another employee of your company.

Sponsor & Exhibitor Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing by email to info@edupaperback.org. Cancellations received prior to December 20, 2023 will be refunded 50%, no refunds will be given after December 20, 2023. 

Privacy Policy: All payment information will be kept secure and credit card information will be disposed of after payment is recorded.
