The Program Chair, Mark von Bargen of Macmillan is eager to explore, Visual Engagement: How graphic novels and picture books are growing parts of developing literacy and pleasure reading for today's children.
The panelists for the Graphic Novels Educational Session will have a broad discussion of the current state of graphic novels, their use in classrooms and libraries, how the format is able to connect with a variety of readers, what is happening to further promote graphic novels in our industry, and where publishers and wholesalers have room to grow sales.
Picture books are no longer just for early readers! Our presenter for the Picture Book Educational Session will update the current state of picture books, their use in classrooms and libraries, how the format is able to connect with a variety of readers, and where publishers and wholesalers have room to grow sales.

Sponsors & Exhibitors: After continued success over the last three years, EBMA will continue to offer exhibitor opportunities and for the first time ever sponsor opportunities.
Sponsor opportunities are available to select organizations that are service providers supporting publishers in the educational and library marketplace with specific products and services that enhance and improve reading for children. Sponsors will participate in the one-on-one sessions by having scheduled meetings with publishers.
Exhibitor opportunities are available to publishers who do not qualify for membership in EBMA. Exhibits will be located outside the one-on-one session meeting room.

Special Note to Company Admins: If you are a company administrator not attending the annual meeting but registering one or more employees from your company, please do not register yourself or register the attendee with your email address. If you would like to be copied on information regarding the annual meeting, please input your address in the secondary email field.

Credit Card Convenience Fee: There will be a 2.5% credit card convenience fee for all customers who wish to pay their registration fees by credit card. If you wish to avoid the processing fee you may choose to pay by check instead of credit card.
Cancellation Policy: To receive a full refund, you must cancel your registration no later than December 19, 2018, a $50 processing fee will apply. If you cancel after this date substitutions may be made up until December 24, 2018.
Privacy Policy: All payment information will be kept secure and credit card information will be disposed of after payment is recorded.
